22.11.12

A woman drew her long black hair out tight
And fiddled whisper music on those strings
And bats with baby faces in the violet light
Whistled, and beat their wings
And crawled head downward down a blackened wall
And upside down in air were towers
Tolling reminiscent bells, that kept the hours
And voices singing out of empty cisterns and exhausted wells.

Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down...

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows...

Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death...

And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken...

Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is...

And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
