“What is that noise?”
              The wind under the door.
“What is that noise now? What is the wind doing?”
               Nothing again nothing.
                                       “Do
You know nothing? Do you see nothing? Do you remember
Nothing?”
     I remember
           Those are pearls that were his eyes.
“Are you alive, or not? Is there nothing in your head?”
                                                          But
O O O O that Shakespeherian Rag—
It’s so elegant
So intelligent

Ariel singing to Ferdinand:

"Full fathom five thy father lies;
Of his bones are coral made;
Those are pearls that were his eyes:
 Nothing of him that doth fade
But doth suffer a sea-change
Into something rich and strange.
Sea-nymphs hourly ring his knell."

Comedy or tragedy
are our errors
Much depends on how a scene is played
Pride is seldom (never?) noble
Either foolish or fatal
Always falling
for a laugh or lesson
